Most newborn sessions take place in my home studio. We're willing to travel to your home; however, there is an additional travel/time fee added depending on location. Once he/she arrives please email us and let us know so we can go ahead and find a day & time for your session.
Two common questions we get asked a lot are: What props do you have? Can I use them during my newborn session? I have a collection of backdrops, hats, wraps, bows, newborn outfits, crates, etc. that are all available to use for your baby during your session. Most of my newborn sessions take around 2 hours. I often tell our clients, newborn sessions can be the most challenging but most rewarding sessions for us. I have learned what poses seem to work better and try to adjust the poses to your baby’s mood. A good portion of the session is spent nursing/feeding/cuddling/rocking, etc. your baby back to sleep and getting your baby perfectly posed. We ask that you arrive 20 minutes prior to your session starting, to come and settle in your newborn (feed and change baby, etc.). We will have a quiet place set up for you to do this.
We encourage parents & siblings to come and be photographed with baby. If you are bringing a toddler or any preschool aged siblings with you, we recommend having a husband, mother, or friend come along to help out with siblings.
Session includes an email pre-consultation, up to 2 hours in studio and 20 edited images (you select your favorite 20 from your proofing gallery) included as digital downloads. Online viewing and ordering available in a password protected gallery. Turn around time for your online gallery is approximately 2 weeks.
Newborn Sessions begin at $375
Newborn sessions have a unique scheduling process. It is best to reserve your session a couple of months before baby is due but we're happy to help fit in a last minute session as long as there is availability on our calendar. Once you have reserved your photography session we will pencil you in on our calendar for your due date. Since we don’t know when exactly baby will arrive we use this as an estimate. Once your baby has made his or her debut you will need to contact us via email or phone. We will then set a definitive date for your newborn photography session approximately 2 weeks after baby’s arrival.
Session includes a pre-consultation, approximately 30 minutes in studio and 20 edited images(you select your favorite 20 from your proofing gallery) available as digital downloads. Online viewing and ordering available in a password protected gallery. Turn around time for your online gallery is approximately 2 weeks. We recommend 2-3 different sets/outfit changes along with some natural and candid poses that capture the specific milestone of your baby (i.e.walking, crawling and sitting).
Milestone sessions begin at $200
MILESTONE
Both Newborn and Milestone sessions we ask you specific information (i.e. props, color choices, outfit choices, etc.) based off of your vision for your session. Planning in advance helps to ensure that your session is successful and stress free!
